annette's birthday brunch

This week's brunch was especially special for me, as it celebrated the day of birth of she to whom I am betrothed. Good times.

  • hello brunchclubbers!

    this is adam's cousin annie.

I am sorry to disappoint you all, but I am NOT luxmundito. man, I wish I was, and maybe now I'll make up a secret identity so I can torture you all with hippie shit from on high, but I am not. god knows I have the time for it. anyway, if I were luxmundito you can bet the posts would be a HELL of a lot dirtier than they are right now. and as for the old beautiful painting comment christine told me LM made about sarah, well that's easy, EVERYONE thinks that. OLD NEWS.

anybody have appetite-oriented suggestion for LA? I'm going for a week in march [my soup dumpling count is dipping dangerously low] and want to stimulate all my senses enough to last through the rest of winter in portland. which is lovely, when it's not raining.

mmm. you guys should do an uptown brunch at amy ruth's or something. or dominican [la rosita up by columbia, but I'm sure there's something on clinton street. the hat place, maybe]. also, ocean grill on the UWS has a lovely fancee brunch [not $$ tho] where you can MAKE A RESERVATION [adam knows all about making reservations, ask him + he'll illuminate that] and sit on velvet banquettes.

tra la la for now ----------

  • Great site BrunchClubbers!!! you are all so awesome. Happy Birthday Annette...I hope our last meeting didn't shatter my image as Sara's wholesome baby sister. Well if that didn't shatter it, than this will:

I have apparently spiraled into the sordid world of foamcore puppets, Johnny Cash parodies, twisted political satire, and Final Cut ProHD(tm).

I recently formed a band with one Lindsay Lawson and one Tristan Buckner. We are THE CHUBBY BON VIVANTS.

  • oh and i forgot to mention: the original concept for the song was by Marcia Simonson, our mom. (Lyrics fleshed out by myself and Tristan)
