Japanese Cherry BC 06

In lieu of our traditional brunching activities, I propose we check out the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens this Sunday. They have Japanese food there and we can have a BC 06 Cherry Springtime Picnic. Check out the link:

Easter Brunch Potluck

I know it's a little soon to start planning, but I just got excited about the possibility of a 2nd annual BC06 Easter Potluck. Are we having one? If so, who's hosting? Will Ricky bring Heidi Klum gummi's again? What are people bringing? I'll volunteer Yoni and myself to make the famous Woody family egg casserole.

The Blue Point

A new brunch spot opened in HK which I thought looked like a lot of fun. It is a French place with a menu which includes hundreds of varieties of crepes and omelets. Yum.

It is at 46th street and 9th Ave. Shall we say 12:00?

"Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast" - Oscar Wilde

I think we can reasonably assume that Mr. Wilde never went to Brunch Club at Schiller's Liquor Bar, where we converged on sunday to recount the goings-on of our nights before (some of us, ahem Paul, had to be reminded of our behavior, some of which, ahem, involved fighting with an open umbrella and flip flops on his hands). The brunch was spectacular, by far one of my favorite meals. We started with a basket of freshly baked pastries and various sundry brioche, all topped off with a slather of nutella. Erica arrived just in time to eat a meticulously selected omelette with cheese and fresh herbs. Annette and Paul had the huevos, and the rest of us, well whatever...i know what you're all really here to find out about... so without further adieu.........

"I'm so glad Christine checked her voicemail for that SOS message from me.... I mean, Annette..."

It's a long story that involves a monk's tooth.... I think...

all the way from bouvet island!
