Forlorn and lovely in Long Island

Brunch Clubbers:

A-Lo and I are brunching sans BC this morning. We are sad and miss you. We made, as a tribute to BC, the Woody family breakfast caserole. The special ingredient was tears. See you all soon.

Love, Yoni

elephantitus of the prawn head, and other stories from brunch.

you all know i don't like to play favorites, but this past brunch was absolutely divine. yes, the waiter had a bit of an at-ti-tude, but annette kept him in check. yes, the mini-scones took approximately 8 hours to arrive at our table, but they were oh-so-delicious. and the prawns, well, i'll let you judge for yourselves.

special highlights: welcome, sarah c! next time please bring jim from the office. sara s. reminded us all why it's best to let the voicemail pick up when the "doctor" calls. and aaron and annette provided the post-brunch club entertainment that, frankly, was better than any door prize i could have imagined. the way i look at it, we're all winners.

great brunch everyone - where to next week?
